"android is starting" "optimizing app x of xxx" i know this should happen once after an upgrade, but it seems to be happening every few re-boots of the phone now.. After each reset does three minutes to open the phone by displaying the message "android is upgrading", "optimizing application 1 of 125" and every time you install a new application this number grows.. General optimizing app 1 of 50 (every reboot!) discussion in 'android devices' started by stebomt, feb 7, i get optimizing app 100 of 176 every time i boot. i get a quick android is upgrading, starting apps just for a sec though after each reboot.. My nexus 7 2012 wifi model is driving me nuts. every reboot keeps going through the same long startup "android is starting" "optimizing app 74 of 98" etc takes ages to boot.. Android 5.1 random restarts and optimize app showing 1-1031 of 1031 messages. can you please clarify what you mean when you wrote "optimize the apps after restart"? re: android 5.1 random restarts and optimize app after the restart, it will start optimizing the apps all over again. observations:.
